地铁/高铁等车辆的火灾的伤亡中，浓烟引起的窒息死亡远远大于火灾本身造成的死亡，因此对地铁/高铁等材料的烟雾毒性的测试十分必要。目录地铁车辆材料根据DIN EN 5659-2进行气体毒性测试。
