DIN EN 60695-11-10: 50W horizontal and vertical flame test methods

DIN EN 60695-11-10: Fire hazard testing-Part11-10: Test flames – 50W horizontal and vertical flame test methods.

This part of EN 60695 specifies a small-scale laboratory screening procedure for comparing the relative burning behaviour of vertically or horizontally oriented specimens made from plastic and other non-metallic materials, exposed to a small-flame ignition source of 50W nominal power.

Test method:

Test method A –Horizontal burning test, According to horizontal combustion to evaluate the level of HB, HB40 or HB75.

Test method B–Vertical burning test, According to the vertical combustion samples to assess V-0, V-1or V-2.
