BS476-4: Fire tests on building materials and structures- Part 4: Non-combustibility test for materials
BS476-4: 建築材料及結構的燃燒試驗—第4部分：材料不燃性測試

樣品放入測試容器中，熱電偶插入樣品中心並且連接測試設備.此外樣品的熱電偶也放進爐子內（爐內溫度達到750℃，這樣的狀態繼續整個測試-20分鐘，在這個溫度下記錄下兩個熱電偶的相關數據材料的不燃性通過如下兩個方面來評估:

溫升(爐內的樣品的中心溫度上升) 必須小於50°C
整個測試中的出現火焰燃燒的時間必須小於10秒
