英国用于外墙外保温系统的防火性能试验方法BS 8414《建筑外墙外包覆系统防火性能试验方法》包括两个部分：BS 8414-1是以砌筑墙作为基层墙体的建筑外包覆系统防火性能测试；BS 8414-2是钢结构框架建筑外包覆系统防火性能测试。建筑外墙保温系统通过BS8414标准要求的可以用于高于18m的建筑。
